Zohab

This sweet girl named Zohab I met near Pretoria Street,Kolkata, was dancing in her mood in an alley of North Kolkata . The time she found me coming with a camera she ran into her house and after so many request she agreed to let me take her picture, but the sad part is after a small conversation with her,her uncle/father (I don’t know) came out and protested as usually the people from this religion do specially in Kolkata. He said to leave that place immediately and even threatened to beat. Feel so silly how they are trying to spread the secularism while being a part of a country like India. Incredible India._DSC8105

Relational Shades

School-where we do feel like a jail in our early childhood and when it’s in the early morning it feels like some one woke you up with a heart broken dream left to be completed. This is why almost every time you find them to go to the school holding tightly the hands of their parents,as the try hard to manage them and to make them understand that they don’t want to go,they just want to stay close to them. This early childhood, every little boy and girl loves to play all the day if they have got enough energy to serve this purpose, and when the time to go to school comes they do feel so heart broken that this is the time when they are not gonna play and they have to stay away from their parents. That’s why they hold their hands so tightly. This is a very common picture for all the morning schools meant for the little children. This photo was taken near Bagbazar(Kolkata,India) and this little girl was a student of “Bagbazar Multipurpose School”(For girls).

Streets of Kolkata

Kolkata Unplugged

“TAXI…..” the common prolonged call you can hear in every corner of this city,if you go to the top of any sky high  building in Kolkata you can see almost this scenario, every five to ten minutes you are gonna find at least one yellow taxi rushing towards the destination of the passenger in it or else a passenger is closing the deal to make the taxi driver convinced to go for the place he/she wants. This is one of the common and useful transport of this beautiful city of joy.But now a days they are commonly known as “No Refusal Taxi”,though they are not like that. There is 70% chance you get rejected by the driver to go for your place if you are not agreed to give him the fair he claims, specially in the office hours.Still we love to have a glimpse of TAXI when we are almost exhausted and want to go home as quick as possible with a backrest. 🙂

Marigold Seller

This lady was selling marigold chain in Howrah Flower market, the biggest flower market near Howrah. This market is commonly known as “Ful Bazar” as you can get every type of flowers here. This market attracts the rush of buyers mainly during the early morning hours, but the market remains open till late evening.Anyone can get flower at a minimum cost from here as this is a whole seller market of flowers.
This place is one of the must visit location for the foreigners with their cameras in recent days,as you can google about it like “Howrah Flower Market” and you will get lots of pictures as search result and from there you can find that lots of the foreigners have clicked photos here in recent days. This is my first visit to this place and expecting one more visit to have some beautiful shots.Till then have a great time with this colorful portrait.
